Hello everyone!
Wreckage Sound System's sledgehammer is coming down hard on the commonplace with MARK HAWKINS, a renowned name of Acid-Techno and UK Techno scenes.
Hawkins' music career began in 1999, with a split-EP he released with the legendary Michael Forshaw on the latter's Chan 'n' Mike's label. This was followed by 6 EP's from the extraordinary record label Djax Up Beats. Hawkins also worked with other well respected labels, such as Pro-jex, Mosquito and Hörspielmusik.
Starting his own record label Crime in 2003, Mark Hawkins took his techno career to a new level. Having released –alongside his own- works by such artists as Michael Forshaw, Rotorik, Si Begg, Bill Youngman, DJ Urban, The Horrorist, Hawkins keeps spinning at significant clubs and festivals, throughout Europe and the UK.
On the 28th of April, before Mark Hawkins' "live" performance at Dogzstar, Yeterschism will open the night with a set we can all be sure to be full of musical surprises, followed by an untamed techno warm-up by DJ Sorry. The night will be wrapped-up by B-Stock (a.k.a. Anti-Ground) with a Schranz/Hard Techno set.
A little reminder: Wreckage Sound System is not a commercial event-organizer. It does not seek to make profits. Our main goal is to make it possible to listen in Istanbul, the sounds we enjoy hearing, and to share these with others that also seek something unusual or some diversity in this city. We hope to get together with other like-minded people and have a load of fun together. We sincerely wish that we could tell you this night was going to be free. However, given our present circumstances, we are forced to announce that in order to cover the costs of the event we have to charge an entrance fee, which we have done everything possible to keep at a bare minimum.

Wreckage Sound System olarak, kalıplara ilk balyoz darbesini Acid-Techno ve UK Techno sahnelerinin tanınmış ismi MARK HAWKINS ile vuruyoruz!
Hawkins müzik kariyerine 1999 yılında, efsanevi Michael Forshaw ile beraber "Chan 'n' Mike's label"dan çıkardıkları split-EP ile başladı. Sonrasında sıradışı Djax Up Beats etiketi altında 6 yayıma imza atan Hawkins, Pro-jex, Mosquito and Hörspielmusik gibi plak şirketleri ile de çalıştı.
Mark Hawkins, 2003 yılında kendi plak şirketi Crime'ı hayata geçirerek , başarılı techno kariyerini bir üst seviyeye taşıdı. Crime ile - kendisinin yanısıra - Michael Forshaw, Rotorik, Si Begg, Bill Youngman, DJ Urban, The Horrorist gibi isimlerin çalışmalarını da yayımlayan Hawkins, halen Avrupa ve İngiltere'nin birbirinden önemli kulüp ve festivallerinde sahne almaya devam ediyor.
Hawkins'in 28 Nisan Cumartesi gecesi Dogzstar'da sergileyeceği "live" performans öncesi Yeterschism'in müzikal sürprizlerle dolu açılışı ve DJ Sorry'nin katıksız techno warm-up'ı bizleri bekliyor. Geceyi Schranz / Hard Techno setiyle B-Stock (a.k.a. Anti-Ground) kapatıyor.
Küçük bir hatırlatma: Wreckage Sound System bir organizasyon şirketi değildir. Kar amacı gütmemektedir. Kendi imkanlarıyla, sevdiği müziklerin İstanbul'da da erişilebilir olmasını ve bu müzikleri, kendisi gibi farklılık/çeşitlilik arayanlarla paylaşmayı amaçlar. Bir araya gelmenin ve beraber eğlenmenin hayalini kurar. İsterdik ki size bu gecenin ücretsiz olduğunu duyurabilelim. Ancak şu anki imkanlarımız dahilinde, fahiş olmayan bir giriş ücretiyle etkinlik giderlerini karşılamak durumunda olduğumuzu bilmenizi isteriz...
