The Free Licks is an Istanbul based alternative rock band formed in 2010. The band's music is considered to have a hard, edgy, sardonic sense of humor, and also soft edges to recall extremities for drawing a borderline in the music
Some of its songs can be offensive and polarize people. In Turkey the band's intention is to open up a new gate in music against the present understanding and established standards and try breaking them.
Some people may like it, some people may not. For the band this is good stuff and one of the most important aspects.

The Free Licks 2010'da kurulmuş İstanbul temelli bir alternatif rock grubudur. Grubun müziğinde sert, keskin ve alaycı bir mizah bulunmakla beraber müzik içinde kendi sınırlarını belirlemesini sağlayan yumuşak hatlar da mevcuttur.
Grubun bazı şarkıları agresif olup insanlarda kutuplaşmaya yol açabilir. Grubun amacı Türkiye'deki müzik piyasasında yeni bir kapı açıp şu anki anlayış ve kalıpları kırmaktır.
