Electric Litany, beklentilere pek de kulak asmayan bir ekip. 2007 yılında Doğu Londra'da kurulan grup, post-rock, synth pop ve electronica ilhamlı müziklerini kendine has bir sound'a evriltmek için çok çalışan grubun ruhani tınıları, ilk albümleri ''How to be A Child and Win the War''la ululslararası dikkatleri üzerine çekmiş ve dünyanın dört bir yanından hayranlar edinmesine sebep olmuştu.
2010 yılında Interpol ve Archieve ile birlikte çıktıkları Avrupa turnesi, grubun popüleritesini artırdı, hatta öyle ki tanınmış prodüktör Alan Parsons kendilerinden ''Bir sonraki Radiohead'' diye bahsetmişti.
Parsons, grubun ikinci albümünün de prodüktörlüğünü yaptı. Guardian gibi önemli yayınlardan övgüler alan albüm sonrası ekip şu anda 2016 yılında yayınlanması planlanan yepyeni bir kayıt üzerinde çalışıyor.

Electric Litany are a band that refuses to be conform to expectations. This has been part of the bands make-up since their formation back in 2007. In their formative years the band occupied the abandoned town hall in Leyton, East London. United by a affinity for post rock, synth
pop and electronica, the four piece spent six months refining their sound before performing in underground venues across London. Within months the haunting, etherial soundscapes
captured the attention of audiences and industry alike, but it wasn't until the release of the debut album "How to be a child and win the war" that the four piece gained
international recognition. The favorable reviews and beuitifully crafted videos helped harvest a devoted fanbase from all croners of the globe.
2010 saw the band embark on a tour of Europe with Interpol and Archive furthering the bands popularity. One of those encapsulated by the sound was renowned producer Alan Parsons who proclaimed "they could be the next radiohead."
Together they produced the bands second album 'enduring days you will overcome.' The Guardian review stated "Bleak and broody music has never been quite so thrilling." The album is a amulgamation of various musical influences shot through with stories of anarchy and freedom. This message has resonated strongly with anarchist groups across Europe with whom the band have a strong alliance. In 2015 the band performed in Syntagm square in a stance against austerity. The event was witnessed by tens of thousands in Athens and was broadcast
internationally. The following day the band performed with The Prodgy in Greece's most renowned music festival before returning to the UK to perform the summer festival
circuit. In 2016 the band will release the "Winter EP" which was once again co produced by Alan Parsons and record the as yet untitled third album. They are currently seeking management for future events.
